~A Typical Day~
Outside Play
Each day our children enjoy our large playground where they can develop social skills and
gross motor skills, visit our children’s garden, play in the sand, rotate through our
theme related skills and concepts table activities or take a ride on one of our playground vehicles.

Circle/Music Time
Different experiences during this fun time include active and quiet songs,
finger plays, instrumental movement and worship.

Story Time
We read and share a variety of stories relating to the monthly theme,
letter of the week, and sharing the word of God.
(listening, attention, language, literacy)
Snack Time
As children enjoy our daily snacks, they practice table manners as well as develop
social skills while they communicate with their peers.
(socialization, responsibility, nutrition, manners)
Art
Our children are encouraged to independently practice fine motor skills and cognitive
development through a variety of art activities with
process art at the root of all projects.
(sharing, following directions, independent creativity)
Phonics
This center is designed for the Pre-K student in preparation for kindergarten.
Children will work on print awareness through letter recognition (upper and lower case),
beginning sounds of letters, patterning, shapes, numbers, name recognition, name printing,
sequencing, mathematics, rhyming, opposites and cutting skills,
as well as daily calendar discussions and weather observations.

Our Students
We accept students ranging in age from 2 years to 6 years old. Consistency of consecutive days are highly encouraged for 3-5 years old.
